Warwick Streamer LX 5 Bass, Sandthrough Chrome Nirvana Black

This Warwick Streamer LX 5 String sports a gorgeous flame maple body with a very cool finish: Nirvana black with "sandthrough chrome." Be sure to check out the photos - we haven't seen anything like it. The wenge neck sports a wenge fretboard with 24 jumbo bronze frets that have been crafted with Warwick's Invisible Fretwork Technology. Electronically, this bass is really decked out. It sports two MEC J pickups wired to an active MEC preamp. The controls are volume, balance, treble and bass. The volume knob also doubles as a preamp push/pull bypass. The case that comes with this instrument isn't so much a case as it is a bomb shelter for your bass. It has to be one of the most durable and protective cases you can get for any instrument. Also included is a Certificate of Authenticity hand signed by Warwick founder Hans-Peter Wilfer and a user's kit.

This Warwick Rockbass Corvette 5 string features an alder body with a natural satin finish, a velvety smooth coating that lets the wood breathe and doesn't leave fingerprints. The maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard with 24 extra high jumbo nickelsilver frets and a 20" radius. There are no sharp frets or dead spots - Warwick did a great job dialing in the feel of this bass. Electronically, you'll find two active MEC JJ pickups. This a great all-purpose combo that grooves just as easily it slaps and solos, and the on-board EQ makes it easy to dial in your exact sound. The two-piece Warwick bridge makes for easy string changes and great intonation and tuning stability, and the tuners are Warwick machine heads. If you're looking to enter the world of Warwick, here's a great way to do it for well shy of the 1K mark.
